Profitmaker launches three new products at Glassex 07

Profitmaker will be launching three new and innovative products at Glassex 07. As Mike Nagle, Sales and Marketing Director for Profitmaker, explains: “We are using this year’s Glassex to launch some exciting new products. The developments on show make our stand a ‘must visit’ for fabricators eager to boost efficiency, and installers who want to ensure they’re offering customers the very best value.”

The new 3D Conservatory Calculator software will be unveiled at the show. It is the first true web based 3D Conservatory modelling software of its kind. It uses the Profitmaker.Net platform to enable trade suppliers to roll out software to their customers quickly and with minimal cost.

Enabling salesmen, surveyors and installers to generate accurate conservatory price estimates in under a minute, it also allows an order to be placed in a matter of seconds which is received automatically by the trade supplier. The software generates a 3D image of the conservatory that can be zoomed in on and rotated, and uses a drag and drop system for components, so making changes to the design is simple and fast. Once the final design is chosen, the software generates a printable base-plan and drawings, with accurate prices.

Profitmaker will also launch the mywindowcompany.co.uk service at Glassex 07. The online service is tiered in five levels, with level 1 free to use. This allows users e.g. small installer customers of trade fabricators, to set their own price list using a template to generate accurate estimates and survey documents, and to print orders and invoices. Level 2 allows the system to be accessed by an unlimited number of users, allows customisation of printable documents, synchronises with staff diaries, and is accessible via mobile phone. The higher the level you choose, the more extra features you have access to.

New product Production Monitor is a software suite that allows factory managers to track every frame, sash, glass unit and even operator through their factory in real-time, so they can see at a glance where every item should be and is, including remakes. Staff tracking is key to the Production Monitor as it can highlight bottlenecks and advise management where to move the resource to. Using a barcode based tracking system, the Production Monitor saves time, costs, management and errors. Data is only entered once, and the system automatically updates other networks like Profitmaker.Net. The open software is also fully adaptable and expandable to suit the needs of any factory.
